Sunac Emerald Coast: A Coastal Experience Center by DSC Design

Revolutionizing Sales Centers with Ocean-Themed Design and Innovative Functional Divisions

The Sunac Emerald Coast project stands out for its several independent functional divisions, each with a unique spatial atmosphere, connected by a fluid circulation. The design team has successfully made these functional blocks distinctive yet interpenetrated with each other. The element of marine animals is extracted as the soul of design to decorate the entire experience center, injecting the space with vitality.

The overall space uses large areas of beige stones, outlined by the stones via the architectural design method, hence highlighting the beauty of architectural structure. Handmade glass bricks with rippled texture dot the interior space, echoing the ocean-themed atmosphere. Moreover, the ceiling of the main hall is clad in LED panels, creating a natural ambiance for the property model display area.

The 4000 square meter interior space consists of a 1300 square meter sales space, a 2150 square meter life experience space, and a 550 square meter auxiliary space. More than a regular sales center, the project embodies the creation and guidance of a wonderful lifestyle. The design team, comprising Li Zizhao, Xia Pengjun, Zhang Gongfa, Wu Dandan, Yin Jiani, Xu Lei, Wang Xingyun, and Zhao Yangyang, has worked diligently to realize this design.

Despite the challenges of a tight schedule, heavy task, strict budget control, and the COVID-19 pandemic, the design team managed to complete the project safely and efficiently. The team kept close communication with the client, visited the site to investigate site conditions and local cultural features, and carried out the design at functional and spiritual levels simultaneously.

The Sunac Emerald Coast project was awarded Silver in A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2021. This prestigious award is rewarded to top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable designs that illustrate outstanding expertise and innovation. These designs, admired for their strong technical characteristics and splendid artistic skill, showcase a remarkable level of excellence and introduce positive feelings, amazement, and wonder.
